Ministry of Education
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Education is the provincial government ministry responsible for overseeing education and early learning in Saskatchewan. It provides leadership and direction for early learning and child care, Kindergarten to Grade 12 education, literacy initiatives, and the provincial library system.
The Challenge
As Saskatchewan added more regulated child care spaces, many potential providers, including municipalities, non-profits, co-operatives and Indigenous organizations, were unaware of funding and resources available to help open new centres.
Our Solution
At the heart of the campaign was the idea “Your Today, Their Tomorrow.”
The line captures the power of investing in child care today to shape the opportunities children will have tomorrow.
Quality early learning strengthens children’s development, confidence and social skills while enabling caregivers to work, pursue education and contribute to their communities.
The Work
Authentic photography from real child care environments featured caregivers engaging children in play-based learning, bringing the campaign to life.
Custom illustrations, in a clean, expressive style using the Government of Saskatchewan colour palette, portray future pathways for children. They subtly suggest the potential of children and how current support helps shape their success.
The Results
More than 700 reactions, comments and shares reflected strong public interest in the importance of quality child care and the support available for potential providers.
