Brown is looking for a full-time media specialist (planner/buyer) to add to our growing team. The ideal candidate loves research, data, and keeping up with trends. They embrace a fast-paced work environment with a strong sense of curiosity and “can-do” attitude. You might not be a TikTok star, but analyzing the latest algorithm strategies sounds like the next best thing.
The successful candidate will:

Have 2-3 years of agency experience

Assist team members in all phases of account/client management

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and respectful partner relationships by demonstrating ability to be responsible, reliable, and resourceful
-
Participate in the development and refinement of best practice guidelines for media department
-
Collaborate with the entire team to set up tests and evaluate new ad placements and types
-
Source and evaluate proposals from media partners as required
-
Develop media strategies aligned with client goals and objectives
-
Develop customized, strategic media plan based on strategy
-
Organize creative requirements for execution and share with creative team
-
Manage budgets, workflow, and process of all media plans
-
Insertion order management
-
Initiate and coordinate media buying process in order to deliver exceptional results, oversee the administration and maintenance of the media plan

Daily monitoring of self-serve digital channels to maximize effectiveness, ensure full delivery, and all KPIs are met

Proactively manage and troubleshoot issues that affect implementation, tracking, or reporting
-
Play a key role in the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy
-
Run analytic reports as required and integrate information into optimization plans and performance reports
-
Propose innovative offerings and strategies for client campaigns

Prepare evaluations of media opportunities, media trends, and issues of interest for clients

Receive approval from Director prior to sending documents to clients

Proactively contribute to securing new business opportunities
-
Prepare presentations and present to team members and clients
-
Contribute during face-to-face meeting with clients

Must be located and able to work in Canada
