Owner of the biggest mouth in computer game history, Pac-Man has much
to shout about. Pac-man hit the arcades in 1980, creating a new genre
of gaming that appealed to everyone and became a pop-culture icon.

Pac-Man chewed up the competition, though pac-dots, ghosts, and cherries
were his main source of nourishment. Spin-offs and sequels followed, the best
of these being Ms. Pac-Man, but it is the original Pac-Man that remains
the perfect play.
