James Aho appointed to National Board for Kids Help Phone

Kids Help Phone is pleased to announce the appointment of James Aho, ABC, MAP as a member of the National Board representing Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

James is a principle of Brown Communications Group and a former board member of both the Canadian Cancer Society and the International Association of Business Communicators.

A native of Manitoba, James has a 30-year history in media, advertising and corporate communications in Saskatchewan and western Canada.  As a regional voice for Kids Help Phone, James will represent the interests of both provinces on the National Board.

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only national, bilingual, telephone and web counseling service for young people. Trained professionals based out of two national call centres in Toronto and Montreal, provide confidential support to kids - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Last year Kids Help Phone helped Canadian kids in need more than 2.2 million times both on the phone and online. Today, through its aggressive Futures Campaign, $7.5 million will be raised to revolutionize and expand services to kids.
